SAUNA KIKI is a fully private herbal steam sauna in Nakameguro, Tokyo, a 6-minute walk from Nakameguro Station, with three types of private rooms on floors 2 through 4. Rather than essential oils, the aroma comes from a decoction of whole natural herbs — roots, stems, leaves, flowers and bark — whose extract is vaporized to fill the room with dense mist. Cultivation, blending, extraction and vaporization are all handled in-house. Room temperature is adjustable from 35 to 55°C, and each room has its own shower and cold bath. Swimwear is worn, and up to three guests can use a room.
