A hot-spring inn at Atsushio Onsen in Kitakata, Fukushima. Its two contrasting large baths, "Oshikirigawa" and "Himesayuri," swap between men and women at midnight, and the official site's lodging plans state that each bathhouse has a medicinal-herb sauna. There is also "Charcoal Baden," a 40°C low-temperature sauna built over a charcoal bed. Day-use bathing reception starts at 11:30. Pick-up from Kitakata Station requires a booking by the previous day.
