Ashino Onsen
芦野温泉
A hot-spring facility in Ashino, Nasu Town, Tochigi Prefecture. It has two of its own springs (Tsuru-no-yu and Mera-no-yu) and a "Yakuso-no-yu" (herbal bath) using an original blend of medicinal herbs, with two tubs: Nagi-no-yu for jissho and Nami-no-yu for kyosho constitutions. The bathing area includes a herbal mist sauna (yakuso kirifuki sauna) in which herbal essential oils are sprayed as a mist. There are also an open-air bath, a cold-water bath and a foot bath; day-trip bathing is accepted from 8:00 to 21:00.
