茨城極熱サウナ 3UN（スリーアン）
A wood-fired sauna in Hitachi, Ibaraki, built entirely by an 85-year-old carpenter who made everything from the building to the sauna stove. It runs on a reservation-only, 120-minute slot system with sessions at 10:00, 13:00, 16:00 and 19:00. An optional "Gokkai Whisking" treatment using birch whisks is offered at 8,000 yen for groups and 12,000 yen per person for the personal 50-60 minute session (1-2 guests). Standard admission is 2,000 yen per person, and a private booking for eight is 15,000 yen. It is a 14-minute walk from Ogitsu Station on the JR Joban Line.
