Capsule Hotel & Sauna G-topia sits in Honcho, Funabashi City, Chiba, a two-minute walk from JR Funabashi Station. Its official site describes it as "Japan's first facility with permanent whisking," offering whisking, a sauna practice spread mainly through Russia and the Baltic states, as a standing menu item. Whisks made from bundled young branches of birch, oak, eucalyptus and similar trees are used along with aromas, with the treatment taking about 15 minutes in the low-temperature sauna room. The basic course is 5,500 yen for first-timers and 6,600 yen normally (tax included).
