A men-only sauna complex 30 seconds from the west exit of JR Ikebukuro Station. Among its four saunas, the "Mushi Sauna" recreates a steam bath said to have been devised by a physician of the Ogaki domain in the Edo period, reproduced with the cooperation of Tanabe Onnetsu Hoyojo in Ogaki, Gifu. It uses 9-10 kinds of medicinal herbs gathered on Mt. Ibuki in Shiga, simmered in a tub made of koyamaki (Japanese umbrella pine). Herbs include Ibuki-jakoso, Naginata-koju and kuromoji. Room temperature is about 50C, capacity one person, entered standing. Operating hours 11:00-21:00.
