GYU-YA VILLA
A one-group-per-day private villa in Himi City, Toyama. In its log-cabin sauna room fitted with a Finnish HARVIA wood-burning stove, the villa offers whisking using a "whisk" made of bundled birch branches and leaves. Sessions are led by a whisking meister, normally one-on-one solo whisking of about 30 minutes per person. Swimwear is required, and guests with allergies to birch (Betulaceae) or oak (Fagaceae) cannot receive the treatment. Day-use sauna slots are also available.
