Run by HIDA LOCAL EXPERIENCE (IORI STAY / HIDAIIYO Inc.), this program starts and ends in Hida-Furukawa, Gifu. Participants ride e-bikes into the Hida forest to harvest wild Kuromoji, a plant native to Japan, then slowly steam-distill it with natural spring water to make their own herbal distilled water. That distillate is used for self-loyly in "Hatake Sauna," a wood-stove-heated sauna hut. 9:00–13:00, 10,000 yen per adult. Offered May 1 to October 31, reservation required.
