穂高養生園 ハーバルサウナ/Rebirth
A program held every Wednesday and Saturday at Hotaka Yojoen, a stay-based retreat in Hotaka-Ariake, Azumino City, Nagano, in a sauna hut in the forest beside its new wing. It is a loyly-style steam sauna in which a decoction of herbs grown in the on-site herb garden and of trees from the surrounding forest is poured over stones heated by a wood fire. 90 minutes for 4,400 yen (10% tax included), with a minimum of three participants. Guests wear sauna clothing such as a T-shirt and shorts and book online after completing a lodging reservation.
