Mori no Sauna (Forest Sauna) at B&B On y va & Experience
森のサウナ
A fully private, one-group-only sauna in the mountains of Kamiyama, Tokushima Prefecture, operated alongside "B&B On y va & Experience," a guesthouse converted from a late-Edo-period sake brewery. Built by hand and completed in 2019, the hut uses wood-fired sauna stones over which water simmered with herbs from the owners' own farm — fennel, apple mint and others — is poured for löyly. Vihta are provided, and cooling down takes place in the natural water of the adjacent mountain stream. The site has neither electricity nor running water.
