Shimonoro Permanent (Tani no Sauna)
シモノロ・パーマネント（谷のサウナ）
A sauna at Shimonoro Permanent, housed in the former Shimonoroi Elementary School in Ikeda-cho, Miyoshi City, Tokushima. The official site describes it as a hybrid-style herbal sauna in which you bathe in hot steam mist scented with natural medicinal herbs. It is heated by a wood stove, with 1.5 to 2 hours' worth of firewood provided per session, and instead of a cold-water bath guests enter the river running right beside the site. Reservation-only, private rental use.
