A dispersed machiya-townhouse hotel in Nagahama, Shiga, with three distinct private saunas. The kura sauna, converted from a roughly 200-year-old storehouse, keeps a bag of herbs on the stove; the 13th Street building uses herbs gathered around Mt. Ibuki; and the tea sauna hangs Asamiya tea leaves from Shiga. Guests pour their own loyly to release the aroma. Cold baths use free-flowing well water or a Shigaraki ceramic tub. Ten minutes on foot from the east exit of JR Nagahama Station.
