The style found at bathing facilities across Japan. It covers rooms such as the kanpo yakuso salt sauna, where mugwort and kanpo crude drugs are turned into steam, as well as mushiyu and ishiburo — stone chambers warmed by hot-spring heat and lined with herbs. 63 facilities across 26 prefectures in this guide run it, each verified on the facility's official site or an equally citable source.

9 can be used as a private or reserved room, 54 are shared only. The prefectures with the most are Tokyo (11), Osaka (6), Shizuoka (4), Hyogo (4) and Gifu (3).

19 of them publish the use of yomogi (Japanese mugwort). Note that yomogi-mushi — sitting on a stool with an opening while mugwort steam rises from below — is a different, single-person apparatus, and is not what this page lists.
